How long is a typical portrait session?

I generally book portrait sessions of three to four hours with a 20 minute vendor meal break included. Here is an example timeline for a 3.5 hour portrait session:
Cocktail hour is 5:00pm-6:30pm. I begin portraits at 5:00. At 7:00 I take a 20 minute break during the dinner/toasts. I resume portraits and conclude my session at 8:30pm.
